The Tinka species tulip is a red/yellow species tulip. The outer petals are red, and when the tulip is open, the petals are yellow on the inside. This cheerful little tulip pairs beautifully with its white sister Lady Jane, as seen in the 3rd photo. Species tulips are smaller than "regular" tulips. They are also called botanical tulips or garden tulips. They grow approximately 15 cm tall and are excellent bulbs for planting in pots.
