Also called florists sadness because the flowers bloom for so long. This white flower on a long stem of more than 1 meter high looks great at the back of the border. They are also suitable for pots. This flower is often used in bouquets.

Ornithogalum contains several species – about 150 – which can be found in their natural habitat in the continents of Africa, Asia and Europe.
