Amaryllis Dancing Queen
The amaryllis Dancing Queen is a beautiful double, orange/white striped amaryllis.
Amaryllises grow to about 40 to 60 cm in height.
The height can be different, depending on how much light the sphere has received.
If you place the amaryllis in a dark place, it will grow longer, and in the light it will become a bit shorter.
Amaryllises are dry bloomers, which means that they will still bloom even without water.
Do you water the amaryllis? Do this only on the roots. If the water is against the bulb for too long, the bulb will mold.
The amaryllises need some time to flower, it can take 7 to 10 weeks.
Has your amaryllis finished blooming? Don't throw the bulb away! You can keep amaryllises well. Remove the flower remains to about 10 cm from the bulb and leave it in a newspaper in a dry, dark, cool place for about 3 months. Make sure that the amaryllis is not too cold, as it cannot withstand frost. After 3 months, plant the amaryllis in nutrient-rich soil and you can enjoy the flowers again.
