The funny thing about Mirabilis Jalapa is that it flowers in different colours, mainly yellow and pink, but also red, orange and white and sometimes bicoloured. In English, the mirabilis Jalapa is also called the four o clock flower, because the flower bud only opens in the evening, around 4 o'clock.
